We know that you will be at home in this unique location. You will sense the history of this special place, which is located on the Aboriginal “Tjibruke Dreaming Track”.
The cliffs on which the cottage is located were originally name “Pointe Pitoresque” by the French Navigator/Explorer Nicholas Baudin in 1802. In 1839 the sailing ship “David Witton” was wrecked off the point, which is known locally as “Witton Bluff”.
The cottage was first built on the bluff in 1924 by the aptly named Samuel Heaven . It later became the home of the local Postmaster and his centenarian Aunt.
